Gaza Crisis Deepens Amid Israeli Airstrikes and Humanitarian Catastrophe

On May 7, 2025, Israeli airstrikes intensified across Gaza, resulting in the deaths of at least 92 Palestinians, including women, children, and two journalists. Notably, strikes targeted the Karama School in Gaza City, which housed displaced families, and a bustling market area, leading to significant civilian casualties.

The Israeli military stated that these operations aimed to neutralize Hamas militants allegedly operating from civilian areas. However, the high civilian toll has drawn international condemnation. Diplomatic efforts are underway to address the crisis. The U.S. State Department announced that a solution to delivering food aid to Gaza amid the dire humanitarian situation is imminent, though details remain unspecified.

As the humanitarian situation deteriorates, immediate actions are imperative:

• Humanitarian Access: Unhindered entry of humanitarian aid to address urgent needs.
